The firm also provides consultative services to corporations that have supplier diversity initiatives. Leamon R. Sowell, Jr., an accomplished transactional attorney is the President and Managing Partner of the firm. Since graduating in 1981 from Northwestern University School of Law, Mr. Sowell has received extensive training and experience in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and contract work. He has been called upon as an expert witness in commercial litigations involving certified MBEs and has served as a Special master involving complex corporate litigation matters.

Mr. Sowell is considered as a national thought leader on the subject of supplier diversity strategies for corporate America. He has acquired a great deal of knowledge and training in the emerging business markets involving certified minority and women business enterprises (MWBEs). Since the early 1990s, his practice began to focus on assisting certified MWBEs in developing growth strategies by working with their corporate customers who were developing substantial procurement programs. A number of the firm's clients are pursuing the acquisition of middle market companies as a means to grow and expand their business
